Great Saw Mill River Cleanup 2016!

Join us for the 7th Annual Great Saw Mill River Cleanup!

We are looking for individual and team volunteers, sponsorships, donations, and organizations interested in hosting a site. Please register for a site or contact Nathan Hunter for more information. Do not hesitate to contact us!

Be part of the group of volunteers (families, civic and youth groups, businesses) to join or lead cleanup crews, bagging tons of trash from streets, parks and streams, and connecting with neighbors and the outdoors. We will be cleaning up garbage and clearing invasive vines.

What to Bring:

Wear sturdy shoes (NO FLIP-FLOPS!), wear long pants, bring gloves if you have them. Bring water. We’ll have equipment, trash bags, gloves, and snacks.

  • Van der Donck Park at the Daylighting in Yonkers
  • Farragut Avenue
  • Lawrence Street
  • Ann St in Yonkers (Science Barge Only)
  • Bridge Street in Ardsley
  • Hearst St in Yonkers
  • VE Macy Park/ Woodlands Lake in Irvington
  • Elmsford (Coca Cola Corporation Only)
  • Pleasantville/Chappaqua (site to be determined)
