Quick Do’s and Don’ts

• Don’t ever dump anything (oil, cigarettes, soda cans, etc.) into the gutter or storm drain
• Don’t blow leaves or grass clippings into street
• Do pick up after your pet
• Do sweep up driveways and sidewalks
• Do use fertilizers & pesticides sparingly and never before it rains
• Do plant gardens in bare spots
• Do keep dirt from any construction projects from washing into the street
• Do direct rooftop runoff to grass or gardens, not driveway
• Do check the cars for leaks
• Do wash cars at the car wash or on lawn
